There were some strong performances by serveral BOTR players this week, including the more than 70 points Bridge Creek put up in their first round win. Here’s a look at the BOTR POW.

Player of the Week
Cole Swayze, RB, Purcell: Purcell probably wouldn’t have been considered to be the favorite in their first round game with Elgin, but the Dragons overcame and conquered in large part to the strong running of Swayze who scored three touchdowns on runs of 49, 63 and 23 yards to help Purcell get a 28-27 win.

Others in the mix: Kentrell Brothers, DE, Guthrie (5 sacks in first round win); Ryan Spangler, QB, Bridge Creek; Derek Patterson, QB, Kingfisher (Scored all three of Kingfisher’s TDs on 2 passes and a run).
