Hennessey Eagles
Record: 13-0
Ranking: No. 3
Coach: Shannon Watford, third season at Hennessey
Previous state titles: None.
Road to 2009 semifinals: Beat Luther 41-13, beat Carnegie 41-7, beat Talihina 26-14.
2008 record (playoffs): 11-3 (Beat Cashion 41-14, beat Snyder 35-6, beat Hominy 30-21, lost to Morrison 26-6)
Last week: Hennessey held previously uneaten Talihina to just 79 yards rushing and less than 200 total yards and forced five Talihina turnovers. The Eagles also scored 26 points against a team that had allowed just 34 all season.
Player to watch: Matt Luetjen, QB. Luetjen has thrown for more than 1,250 yards and 18 TDs and rushed for more than 1,300 yards and 23 TDs.
Key stat: 3. The number of starting QBs from last year on Hennessey’s roster. Caleb Weaver started for the Eagles last season, Dillon Morgan had started at Velma-Alma and Matt Luetjen started at Locust Grove. Morgan and Weaver moved to other positions and have contributed greatly while Luetjen is the starting QB.
News to know: Dillon Morgan has more than 1,000 yards and 13 TDs rushing. … Ben Aguirre has nearly 600 yards receiving with 8 TDs. …Raul Orozco has 92 tackles to lead the Eagles. Morgan is seconds with 84. … Derrick Luetjen leads Hennessey in sacks with 9. … Aguirre also heads the Eagles with 9 interceptions. … 

Tonkawa Buccaneers
Record: 13-0.

Coach: Mike Kirtley, seventh season at Tonkawa
Previous state titles: 1952 (B), 1953 (B), 1999 (A), 2000 (A), 2005 (A)
Road to 2009 semifinals: Beat Foyil 41-6, beat Stratford 27-0, beat Watonga 19-6.
2008 record (playoffs): 12-2 (Beat Foyil 34-6, beat Dewar 26-0, beat Oklahoma Christian 9-7, lost to Okeene 9-7.)
Last week: Jake Love ran for 280 yards and three TDs on 28 carries to keep top-ranked Tonkawa undefeated. Love scored on runs of 65, 27 and 1 yard.
Player to watch: Jake Love, RB. The junior is the Bucs most consistent offensive threat.
Key stat: 81. Total points given up by Tonkawa this season, including just 12 in the playoffs. Tonkawa has scored 506.
News to know: QB D.J. Bishop is Tonkawa’s second-leading rusher. … The Bucs closest game of the season came in the season opener, a 24-14 win over Newkirk. Since, no team came closer than 27 until last week’s 13-point win. … Tonkawa threw just four passes in last week’s win. … The Bucs held Watonga to just 33 yards rushing. 

Stroud Tigers
Record: 13-0
Ranking: No. 4
Coach: Chris Elerick, fifth season at Stroud
Previous state titles: 1969 (B), 1970 (A), 1974 (A), 1981 (A)
Road to 2009 semifinals: Beat Savanna 54-6, beat Pawnee 21-13, beat Cashion 52-47)
2008 record (playoffs): 10-2 (Beat Savanna 27-0, lost to Morrison 41-7)
Last week: Cody Pritchard ran for 325 yards and five TDs on 36 carries to lift Stroud to a wild win over previously unbeaten Cashion. At one point, Stroud led 40-14.
Player to watch: Cody Pritchard, RB. Pritchard has 1,980 yards and 29 TDs rushing this season and 223 carries.
Key stat: 3,498. Stroud’s total rushing yards for the season.
News to know: Austin Billingslea leads the Tigers with 935 yards and 8 TDs receiving. Dakota Boswell also has more than 500 yards receiving. … Boswell also has 459 yards rushing for an average of nearly nine yards per carry. … Andrew Miller has more than 1,800 passing yards. …Levi Killman is the Tigers’ leading tackler.

Oklahoma Bible Trojans
Record: 12-1
Ranking: No. 7
Coach: Todd Kuykendall, second season at Oklahoma Bible
Previous state titles: None.
Road to 2009 semifinals: Beat Oklahoma Christian 7-0, beat Cordell 51-8, beat Salina 14-0.
2008 record (playoffs): 4-6 (None)
Last week: Harrison Jackson ran for 134 yards on 30 carries, scoring on a 38-yard run in the final minute to put away Salina.
Player to watch: Harrison Jackson, RB. Jackson has nearly 1,900 yards and 23 TDs this season.
Key stat: 234.8. The Trojans’ average rushing yardage this season. OBA averages just more than 60 passing yards per game.
News to know: Chris Kuykendall has more than 800 passing yards. … Andy Meier leads the Trojans in interceptions. …The Trojans’ only loss came to Hennessey 19-0 on Oct. 15.
