Recapping an item we had in the Oklahoman earlier this week, El Reno wrestling coach Shane Kerr is recovering nicely from surgery to remove a benign brain tumor behind his eye last month. Kerr has been out of the hospital and has even made it up to the high school several times since being released, athletic director Rocky Carter said.

Carter said Kerr is expected to return to his teaching and coaching duties following the Christmas break.
