Bishop McGuinness Girls (8-1)

Discipline and execution sums up this team. It took the team a half against OCS to adjust to life without Caroline Cameron, but boy did the girls do it.

Here’s why this team is going to make a good charge: balance. The depth is nice, but it’s the balance between good perimeter shooters and reliable players in the post.

Senior Cara Pugh, junior Alexa Lienhard and sophomore Elyse Hight give the team a great inside presence. Biggest team I’ve seen as all three are at least 6-0.

But then on the outside, I would trust Mary Beth Canfield and Whitney Ritchie with clutch shots, and the senior leadership of Lissy Fuller has to be mentioned.

Teams might be able to figure out what the Irish do so well during this two-week period, but there is no way you can match up with the depth.
