PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Moore Zone

 

Tara Martini

Girls basketball, Moore

Martini scored a game-high 15 points, had a team-high tying seven rebounds and notched five steals as the Lions edged rival Westmoore with a terrific fourth-quarter rally. Martini led a 10-2 Moore run in the final period to earn the win.

Martini also led the Lions in scoring on Tuesday in a loss to Del City, tossing in 11 points. The senior forward has led the Lions in scoring in all but one game this season.

Sidney Cook

Girls basketball, Southmoore

Cook scored a team-high 13 points in a loss to Norman on Tuesday.

 

Kabria Harkey

Girls basketball, Westmoore

Harkey led the Jags in scoring in a loss to Moore and a win over Mustang, scoring a combined 27 points in the two games.

 

Keaton Randall

Wrestling, Westmoore

Randall went 2-0 in a dual against Moore and Southmoore, winning both matches by fall. Randall recorded his first pin in 1:45 and needed just 1:21 to notch his second.

 

Brian Self

Wrestling, Westmoore

At 189 pounds, Self recorded falls in 45 seconds and 2:33 in sweeping foes from Southmoore and Moore.

 

Eric Ramirez

Wrestling, Moore

The 125-pounder swept a pair of matches against Southmoore and Westmoore, winning one by fall and another by decision.
