King piles up points for Norman girls
Point guard Kamra King started the season on a hot streak scoring-wise. She’s ending the regular season that way as well.
King nearly outscored Moore by herself in Norman’s 63-23 victory Tuesday. The junior point guard had 19 points and got the Tigers off to a 27-2 explosion in the first quarter and from there it was academic.
Chelsea Key scored 11 points for the fourth-ranked Tigers and Jeannie Ramon added 11. Norman is now 15-3 and will meet fifth-ranked Norman North Thursday. The Tigers held the Lions to two points in both the first and third quarters. Tara Martini scored a team-high six points for Moore.
