When talking to Mt. St. Mary’s coach Lenny Hatchett after Tuesday’s win against Heritage Hall, the first thing he talked about was the team’s spirit.
The Rockets just have that type of resolve that won’t let them be denied, and they showed it Tuesday. It stems from Hatchett and trickles down to the boys.
While Dalton Newsome was huge in the fourth quarter (where he scored all eight of his points), Hatchett was also quick to give credit to Jake Peace and Christian Hill for the work they did defensively.
MSM has now bounced back successfully after each of its two losses this season and is at Christian Heritage Academy on Friday.
