In what is pretty much the norm for Moore’s girls basketball team, Tara Martini led the Lions in scoring in Thursday’s game against Del City. What’s far from normal though was that the senior standout only netted four points in the game.

In a 46-16 loss, six Moore players scored, but non had more than four points. The Lions went scoreless in the first quarter and everything went south from there. Del City led 28-4 at halftime.

Moore, now 5-14, got three points from Jazzmine Mayes and Heavin Taliaferro.

The Lions look to rebound tonight when they visit Edmond Memorial.
