Moore freshman Gigger shines against Del City
Balanced scoring, a game-high scoring effort and a breakout game by a freshman still weren’t enough for Moore’s boys basketball team Thursday against Del City.
Playing a make-up game from Jan. 29, the Lions fell 56-46 to the Eagles. Junior Tim Snyder scored 12 points to lead all scorers and freshman Dorian Gigger tossed in nine points. But a 19-9 third-quarter surge by Del City cost the Lions a shot at winning their fourth game of the season.
