One strong quarter and Martini's points aren't enough for Moore girls

Moore’s girls basketball team hung tough for the first quarter, but Edmond Memorial pulled away for a 62-24 win Friday.

Leading scorer Tara Martini led the Lions with seven points. The Bulldogs were only up by three after one quarter, but a 22-6 run in the second period blew the game open.

Moore hosts rival Southmoore Tuesday at 6 p.m.
