GIRLS BASKETBALL POWER POLL: BIG SCHOOLS

1. Midwest City (6A), 19-2: Playoffs have arrived  —  finally. Now maybe the Bombers will have to break a sweat.

2. Harrah (4A), 23-1: Three of last four foes have scored less than 30 points.

3. Edmond Santa Fe (6A), 19-3: Wolves showed what they’re made of with clutch victory over No. 2 Edmond North.

4. Edmond North (6A), 19-3: Loss to Santa Fe gives Huskies incentive for playoffs.

5. Norman (6A), 18-4: Tigers seeking sixth consecutive trip to state tourney.

6. Cache (4A), 22-0: Up for a challenge. Won regular-season finale 72-14.

7. Carl Albert (5A), 18-4: The Titans’ long-awaited chance to get back to the state final for the second straight season starts Thursday.

8. Weatherford (4A), 20-0: Completed unbeaten regular season.
