Both Norman and Moore got what they are used to Thursday in the Class 6A regional tournament opening round at the NHS Gym.

Norman is used to hosting regional tournaments. The Tigers are also accustomed to victories over Moore and they got a third on the season Thursday with a 67-26 triumph over the Lions.

The Tigers, 19-4 and ranked third in 6A, have hosted a regional every year since 2002. Kamra King led Norman with 17 points and Jordan Franks tossed in 11.

As for Moore, the Lions are used to Tara Martini leading the way. And she did again. The gutsy senior has been very good in a long and difficult season for the Lions and finished her career with a team-high seven points.
