PLAYER of the week: Moore Zone
Lauren Vabolis, Westmoore
Girls soccer
Vabolis booted a goal in the final minute to force overtime against perennial power Norman. Westmoore fell 2-1 in a shootout, but Vabolis’ score gave the Jaguars a chance at the upset and raised the junior’s team lead in goals.
