Norman North, PC North soccer teams in NSCAA/adidas top 10

Putnam City North’s boys soccecr team is ranked second in the country in the latest NSCAA/adidas rankings. Tom Pecore’s Panthers are 3-0 and have All-American goal keeper Brian Byars.
“Now the hard works starts,” said Pecore. “We are a target for every team we play.”
Norman North’s boys team, also 3-0, is also in the national rankings at No. 7. The T-Wolves are playing without standout junior Jack Coleman, who is concentrating on his national team commitments. North also has a new coach as Don Rother resigned after last season. Former Norman soccer All-Stater Geo Claros replaced Rother.
