Norman North’s girls soccer team had hoped a recent hot streak would lead to big things in the postseason. However, the T-Wolves’ four-match wining streak came to a close in the opening round of the Class 6A playoffs Tuesday.

Edmond North’s girls, ranked second in Class 6A, bested Norman North 3-0 as Courtney Dike collected a playoff hat trick. Sherri Collins, Camille Sanders and Carly Yates each had assists in the Huskies’ win.

The victory sends Edmond North up against rival Edmond Memorial in Friday’s quarterfinals.

Norman North closes the year at 8-7.
