I’ve been the softball guru here the last three years and Dewar is a team that is always on that bracket. Always expected to play well, but then they would falter.

So this year, seeing Dewar once again, didn’t give the Dragons much of a shot. Especially considering they were playing top-ranked Fletcher in the first round.

Ha, shows what I know. Dewar was impressive in its first two wins and showed good heart and poise in beating Barnsdall 8-5 to win its first state championship.
