Football: Welcome to the Super 30...

It’s about 100 degrees out here lately yet all we can talk about is football. And we’re still two months away from the first practice and nearly three months out from opening night, but it’s never too early, is it?

Tuesday will begin our series on the Super 30: a look at the top high school football recruits for the Class of 2011.

The new list came out last week so maybe the cat is out of the bag in terms of the drama of where your favorite athlete is.

However, the purpose of this series is to let everyone get to know who these stars of tomorrow are, well, today. Kinda like a ‘before they were stars’ look at some of the best high school football talent in Oklahoma.

It’s going to run in the next month on a near-daily basis, both in print and on NewsOK.
