With all the attention on Del City wide receivers Donavan Dan and Chris McAlister last year, it was only bound to happen that QB Chazten Gonzales would start to get some love, too.

It’s happening as Gonzales earned his first offer recently from TCU. Gonzales is definitely someone who can hurt you with his legs, but I prefer to see him air it out.

He’s got real good size for a QB at 6-2 so you know the scouts are liking that. Gonzales threw for more than 2,400 yards last year but did have problems with interceptions. It will be crucial for him (and the team) to make that number take a dip. He also ran for more than 400 yards.

Teammate Jamelle Naff, an offensive lineman, has the Horned Frogs as one of his eight offers.
