Well, that didn’t take long. Del City dual-threat quarterback Chazten Gonzales didn’t waste anytime in committing to TCU this weekend.

Gonzales impressed the Horned Frogs at a camp earlier this month and received the offer not too long after.

He turned heads last season (especially early in the year) with his passing and running. This year will be a real test to see what he can do without Chris McAlister and Donavan Dan.

Gonzales’ size and athletic ability made him a hot commodity, but he found a good fit with the Frogs and decided to end any drama.

Looks like it’s going to be a busy summer/fall for the Eagles. To go with Gonzales, Del City has one of the top recruits in the state in OL Jamelle Naff. And as I said Friday, Naff also has an offer from TCU.
