Football: Rivals camp Saturday at Tulsa Memorial...

There will be a one-day camp for all 2011 and 2012 football recruits Saturday at Tulsa Memorial HS. The event will begin at 9 a.m. and will run until about noon, said OKVarsity.com publisher Justin Mitchell.

The elite showcase camp will feature position drills, one-on-one battles and 7-on-7 drills. Big showings here have proven, in the past, to lead to some big-time college offers.

On a personal note, it will give me a chance to check out even more of this year’s group, and I’m really excited about seeing some of the top juniors for a few hours.

I’ll definitely be back later this weekend with my thoughts on things, and you know I’ll be out there shooting whatever video I can.

Again, Tulsa Memorial HS from 9 a.m. to noon for the top football recruits for the Classes of 2011 and 2012.
