Carl Albert wide receiver and defensive back Dwight Dobbins committed to Tulsa Monday night.

Dobbins, 5-foot-8 and 165 pounds, also had an offer from North Texas and was receiving interest from Colorado State, New Mexico, Texas Tech and Kansas.

“I went up for a visit Friday, and it just felt right,” Dobbins said. “They showed me the facilities and the campus. I got to talk to a lot of the kids, and it felt great.”

Dobbins scored five touchdowns and had 50 tackles on defense last year. He is expected to play a much bigger role for the Titans defense this season.

Dobbins is the third Oklahoma recruit to commit to Tulsa, joining Jenks’ Trent Martin and Zack Langer.
