What can he possibly do for an encore Saturday? Jay’s Cayle Shambaugh said he would prefer to play outfield instead of pitching because he can play every day.

In the Heartland Classic, Shambaugh is showing he can do it all. It’s tough to top a no-hitter, but Shambaugh hit not one but two walk-off home runs Friday.

Shambaugh, an Oklahoma signee, hit a three-run shot in the afternoon to give Oklahoma a 6-5 victory against Ohio. Jon Gray of Chandler pitched well as some of the runs were unearned.

For an encore, he hit the game-winner in a 2-1 win over Texas. Ryan Wilson of Owasso was brilliant on the mound for the first five innings while Roff’s Blake Logan closed out the show.

Shambaugh threw a no-hitter for Team Oklahoma in a 3-0 win against Team Arkansas on Wednesday night.

Shambaugh struck out 15 and walked two. The Classic concludes Saturday at OU’s Mitchell Park. Oklahoma went 5-2 in the round robin portion and plays Texas (again) for third place at 3 p.m.

Georgia plays Maryland for the inaugural championship at 6 p.m.

Saturday’s schedule
At Mitchell Park
Seventh place
: Canada vs. Arkansas, 9 a.m.
Fifth place: Ohio vs. Arizona, noon
Third place: Oklahoma vs. Texas, 3 p.m.
Championship: Maryland vs. Georgia, 6 p.m.
