Yukon wide receiver Derek Deeds is back in Oklahoma, but his crazy week isn’t nearly done. He got back in time for the national camp at OU on Saturday and Sunday.

Here are more of his thoughts from today as well as some more insight on what it was like to be in Virginia this week. Deeds will be back Sunday for his final installment.

“Well I made it back just in time for Top Prospect camp. My flight from Virginia was delayed and I didn’t arrive in OKC until 12:30 this morning.

I got a few hours of shut-eye before linking up with QB Corben Jones and heading out to Norman. Corben also made Top Prospect camp.

It is really awesome to be there with Corben, because we’ve been teammates since we were 7 years old. Corben’s dad coached us on the youth team PCO Rams. We have been playing together ever since, except for when we went to different middle schools in Yukon and played against each other.
