Yea, not exactly the same environment at the Mabee Center for the all-state basketball games as it was for the large school state championships in March. But still fun.

Girls: Small East 72, Small West 53

Believe it or not, this was actually close in the first half. The East only led 33-31 at halftime but came out strong in the second half and put this baby away.

Pawnee’s Britney Morgan was clearly the best player on the court on this night.

Large West 53, Large East 50

This game was the example of what most all-star games are like. The East actually held a 34-23 lead midway through the third quarter.

And then like in most NBA all-star games, that competitiveness came out.

Sparked by Anadarko’s Ronay English, Midwest City’s Tarrington Oakes and Carl Albert’s Kylie Mayes, the West roared back.

In fact, the final couple of minutes were like a real game with timeouts and everything.

For a video with Oakes and Mayes, here ya go.

Coach of the Year: Steve Odle, Kansas
Player of the Year: Chelsea Key, Norman
