Choctaw DE Hunter Davis commits to Tulsa

With a variety of options in the way of schools and positions, Choctaw’s Hunter Davis decided to stick with blue and gold.

The 6-foot-3, 250-pound defensive end committed to Tulsa on Monday. He also had an offer from Kansas State and was receiving interest from several programs around the region.

Most had recruited him as a defensive end, but some liked him as a linebacker and others saw him as a tight end/H-back on the offensive side.

Davis had 73 tackles and five sacks as a linebacker last season, but has been practicing at defensive end since the spring.
