The last two weeks couldn’t have been better for Carl Albert. Paced by impressive performances in the Carl Albert and Shawnee Tournaments, the Titans have jumped to No. 2 in 5A.

Colin White’s club got a chance to see where it stands in 5A with a battle against then-No. 2 ranked McAlester last weekend.

Behind the pitching of McKenzie Jones, the Titans won 7-3 and are in the midst of a 15-game winning streak.

It’s been the combination of Jones and Whitney Robinson in the circle as Jones is 7-1 this year while Robinson is 8-0.

Robinson is also tied with Molly Davison for the team lead in RBIs with 24.

Had a feeling this might be a really good season for the Titans. Last year’s team was so junior-filled, but it was good to get that state experience again.

Titans are going to be able to breathe here shortly. After a Thursday home date with Deer Creek, White’s squad won’t play again until Tuesday against El Reno.
