Here we go again. This should be a good one at Millwood when the Falcons welcome Bishop McGuinness (Scott Wright will be there.)

Robert Przybylo: How in the world can this team physically and mentally come back after such a draining game vs. Douglass?

Scott Wright: It won’t be easy at all, especially from a physical standpoint. Those Millwood kids were worn down to the extreme on Saturday, some of them vomiting on the field during the game. I’m sure the Millwood coaches tried to take it easy on them in practice Monday to let them have a little extra rest, but it’s hard to judge how close to 100 percent ready they can be. Kids aren’t used to playing that many plays in the heat of the afternoon, so their bodies took quite a beating.

Przybylo: What’s the status of RB Shevin Patton? The offense wasn’t quite the same without him on the field in the second half.

Wright: Coaches say he’ll be fine, but for a shifty back like him, any injury to the knee or below will have an impact. The run game is important for the Falcons, because not only does it help keep the secondary honest, it gives QB Kevonte Richardson more openings to run the ball as well. And when they have both running threats and the passing game, they’re dangerous.
