Putnam North (1-2) at Edmond Memorial (3-0)
When: 7:30 p.m. Friday
Where: UCO’s Wantland Stadium

PCN (L – Putnam City 16-7, L – Mustang 27-14, W – PC West 52-14)
Why the Panthers can win: The offense got an opportunity to build some confidence last week in the win over PC West, and QB Jace James should continue to get more comfortable with his new crop of receivers. He’s already got a good connection with Covin Conrady, who has been close to the top of Class 6A in receptions and yards all season. And there’s still the impending return to full-time duty of RB Dre Holman, finally giving the Panthers that 1-2 punch of Holman and Sam Wolfe. That could happen tonight.

Memorial (W – Santa Fe 14-0, W – Stillwater 38-15, W – Edmond North 17-6)
Why the Bulldogs can win: Because questions about their offense should be gone now. They’ve won a game when star Kameron Doolittle wasn’t 100 percent. Between Cale Olbert and Grant Bohuslavicky and others, a lot of talent on the offensive side of the ball.
