Southmoore: Kendal Thompson most likely out...
By Justin Hite
Southmoore quarterback Kendal Thompson, an Oklahoma oral commit, hasn’t played since suffering a sprained left knee during a Week 2 win vs. Westmoore. Thompson didn’t play last week against Sapulpa and said before the game that he expects to return Oct. 15, when the SaberCats travel to Broken Arrow.
Southmoore hosts Norman on Friday in a game with District 6A-3 title implications on the line.
Safety Austin Brooks left the 51-27 victory against Sapulpa with a hamstring injury, and running back Karltrell Henderson suffered a knee injury late in the game. ‘Cats Chris Jensen said both injuries are minor.
