If there was ever a must-win week for the Southmoore SaberCats, it’s this week. After three weeks of district play, the SaberCats sit fourth in Class 6A-3 — two games behind Norman, Broken Arrow and Jenks. It doesn’t help that all three of those teams are undefeated in the district and Norman and Jenks are 6-0 on the year. While those teams haven’t faced off head-to-head yet, it’s still time to move for Southmoore.

Southmoore appears to have a decent hold on the fourth spot, but Muskogee has an identical record in district and beat Southmoore on a missed field goal earlier this season.

Just a quick look, here’s the Class 6A-3 district standings through six games:

Team                                                      Dist.                  Over.                  +/-

No. 1 Jenks                                    3-0                  6-0                  45

No. 6 Norman                                    3-0                  6-0                  36

No. 3 Broken Arrow                  3-0                  5-1                  45

Southmoore                                    1-2                  4-2                  9

Muskogee                                    1-2                  3-3                  -29
