Westmoore Jaguars (4-2) at Edmond North (2-4)
When: 7:30 p.m. Friday
Where: UCO’s Wantland Stadium

Westmoore (4-2)
Why the Jaguars can win
: Development. On both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, the Jaguars are getting noticeably better. Defensively, it’s obvious. Offensively, not nearly as obvious. Quarterback Trevor Thompson has made huge leaps in six weeks behind center with the way he throws the football and the decisions he makes. The biggest leap is he hasn’t hurt Westmoore yet.

Quote: They’ll give our defensive guys a lot of problems. … They throw a lot of formations at you. — Westmoore coach Billy Langford.

North (L – Southmoore; W- Choctaw; L- Memorial; W- Del City; L- Mustang; L- Putnam City)
Why the Huskies can win: Because if they don’t, well, let’s not go with that line of thinking just yet. This is about as must-win a game as you can have at this point in the season. Jarion Tudman needs to come up big, and the defense needs to stop the potent Westmoore ground attack.
