Kingfisher (6-2) at Heritage Hall (9-0)
When
: 7:30 p.m. Friday
Where
: Pop Murray Field

Kingfisher
Why the Yellowjackets can win
: Because just a little something has been missing from this team and maybe they’ve found the answer. Quarterback Derek Patterson and the Nault boys (Logan, Landon) are a formidable trio.

Heritage Hall (W – Casady; W – Clinton; W – Davis; W – Centennial; W – Tulsa NOAH; W – Newcastle; W – John Marshall; W – SeeWorth; W – Bethany)
Why the Chargers can win
: Because they’ve been through their baptism by fire. They showed to the rest of the state that they can win without Barry J. Sanders, and they’re riding high in their confidence.

Quote:

This is a big game for us because we want an undefeated season. It’s something that means a lot to us.” – junior Sterling Shepard

Key matchup: Shepard vs. Kingfisher defense. Shepard has proven to be an incredible versatile talent that no teams have been able to get a handle on.

The pick: Heritage Hall 28, Kingfisher 16. The status of Sanders is still a question, but defense will come through big once again.

Boneman’s Heritage prediction record: 9-0.
