Owasso Rams (7-4) at Westmoore Jaguars (6-5)
When: 7:30 p.m. Friday
Where: Moore Schools Stadium, Moore

Owasso (7-4)
Why the Rams can win:
Assault. The aerial variety, I mean.  The Rams have their deep threat: Joe Lindsey, nearly 18 yards per catch and 13 touchdowns — second most in Class 6A. They’ve got their possession receiver: Keon Hatcher, 14 yards per catch and 57 receptions — fourth most in 6A. The Rams have the fifth-most passing yards in 6A as well (2124 yards)

Westmoore (6-5)
Why the Jaguars can win
: Confidence. Wouldn’t you have a little after beating a team nobody else had? There’s nothing that fuels defense more than confidence. More than offense, defense is an emotional game. Westmoore’s victory against Midwest City should fuel and already exceptional defense. The Jaguars believe they can win.

Key matchup: Owasso’s passing attack vs. Westmoore’s secondary. It couldn’t get more straightforward than this. Owasso leans on its passing game and Westmoore secondary has been improving since the first snap this season.

The pick:  Owasso 24, Westmoore 13. I hate to pick against the Jags again, but the Rams offense may be too much.
