So Friday was the first time I got the chance to see the Midwest City girls team. I’ve been internally debating whether or not Paul Bass’ Santa Fe girls could stand a chance against the Bombers.

As of mid-January, I’m saying no. I just don’t see a weakness in Art Bode’s team…anywhere.

In the post, you have Kaylon Williams and Marisha Wallace. Williams, battling sickness, only had two points vs. Del City and the team still won by 21 points.

On the perimeter, Reagan Widener is anchoring the team, while Adrianna White and Ashley Clark are both capable of 12-15 points per contest.

The team that beats Midwest City (if there is one) is going to have to have a great shooting night. You need to bring those post players out of the paint so you have a chance to get rebounds. Gonna be a tough chore for anybody.

Not sure if this team is better than last year’s, but it is undefeated and playing great ball right now. In a loaded field at the Titan Classic coming up, the Bombers are separating themselves from the rest of the pack

Here’s a short video with Wallace after the Del City victory.
