Douglass' Cayman Bundage high on NCSA recruit list

A list released by the National College Scouting Association ranking the performers at this month’s US Army National Underclassmen Combine selected Douglass lineman Cayman Bundage as the No. 4 player among the 500 in attendance at the San Antonio event.

The list was put together by NCSA Director of Football Recruiting Randy Taylor, along with former college recruiting coordinator Bob Chmiel and three former NFL players, Othello Henderson, Marcus Price and Ryan Neufeld.

Bundage has been on the radar of several Division I programs after strong performances at camps last summer, including one in Dallas and another at Florida State. The Seminoles, along with Oklahoma, Nebraska, Alabama, Miami, North Carolina, Cal and a few others have stayed in contact with Bundage as he prepares for his senior season.

Bundage started at left tackle for the Trojans in their run to the Class 4A state title last fall, but his college future is at center or guard. He was Douglass’ starting center as a freshman and sophomore, before the need increased for him to be on the edge.
