Heritage Hall's Barry Sanders, Jenks' Alex Ross on Rivals 250
Heritage Hall junior running back Barry J. Sanders and Jenks running back Alex Ross were the only two Oklahomans represented on the Rivals 250 for the Class of 2012.
The list, released Wednesday, did not include number rankings.
Sanders has 12 offers, including Alabama, Florida State and Oklahoma State. He said he plans on visiting Alabama in a couple of weeks. It will be his second visit to Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Ross became the second verbal commitment to Oklahoma for the 2012 class. Ross committed to the Sooners late Tuesday night.

If I may be so bold, I thought for sure at least one (if not all three) would be on this list: Sterling Shepard of Heritage Hall, Norman’s Donovan Roberts and Douglass OL Cayman Bundage.
Yea, there might be some OKC-area bias there as I’ve seen these kids often and know what they can do but really feel they are among the top 250 in the nation.
Roberts is one of the best college-ready RBs I’ve seen in my short time. Bundage has impressed on the field and at combines. And Shepard, well, you guys know how I feel about his playmaking ability.
For those wondering, Scott Wright and myself have been working on a Super 30 for 2012. That will be unveiled Sunday.
