The Oklahoman's 2012 Super 30: Nos. 20-11
In the 'Year of the RB' don't forget about Putnam City's Casey Curtis.
2012 Super 30
11. Sheldon Wilson, RB, Anadarko (5-10, 170) — His 49 rushing touchdowns put him on the map and his combine performances are keeping him there. Not the biggest but great potential as an all-around back. Said he is working on his upper body strength heading into senior year.
12. Ramsey Hamilton, QB, Beggs (6-2, 180) — The top-rated quarterback in the state for the 2012 class. Said his strength is making plays scrambling out of the pocket. Arkansas is showing high interest, but there are several other teams in the Big Ten, Big 12 and SEC giving him a look.
13. Andrew Long, RB, Southmoore (5-9, 165) — Another player whose lack of size is wiped away by what he can do on the field. Must show he has fully recovered from a foot injury. Has come up big against the SaberCats’ toughest opponents the last two seasons and has sprinter’s speed.
14. Conner Sherwood, LB, Cascia Hall (6-2, 215) — Has been on the national recruiting radar ever since his sophomore season. A physical presence who is able to stop opposing teams’ rushing attacks.
