Star Spencer honors Dunjee players

I’m a little late getting this out there, but it’s a pretty cool deal. Back on Feb. 12 for their home game against Millwood, the Star Spencer boys basketball team broke out a little throwback flavor, wearing jerseys to honor the former Dunjee High School.

When Dunjee (which was also located in Spencer) closed, it merged with Star, so this is a big piece of the school’s history.

There were a few former Dunjee Tigers on hand to see the game, standing with the team in the middle of the picture. This was the second year that Star coach Patrick Cudjoe has done this.
