Track: Gunnar Nixon video

Below is my video interview with Edmond Santa Fe track standout Gunnar Nixon to go along with my story on Nixon from Friday’s paper.

In the video, you can see a clip of Nixon running the 110-meter hurdles Friday in the meet at Edmond North, where he nearly set a state record. Nixon ran it in 14.01 seconds, just .09 off the record of 13.92 held by Nathaniel Winfrey of Stillwater, which he set at the 2009 state meet.

Seriously, the video is worth watching just to see the race. In 110 meters, you’re not supposed to win this easily, that’s all I’m sayin’.
