Hennessey (10-3) vs. Millwood (13-0)
When
: 1 p.m. Saturday
Where: Yukon’s Miller Pride Stadium (Ryan Aber will be there)

Hennessey
Why the Eagles can win
: Because Millwood hasn’t seen this type of physicality from a team since probably the Jones thriller. The defense has never been a question for this team, but the offense has quietly become very consistent and very explosive, especially junior QB Trey Leu.

Quote:

We know not many people are giving us a chance. We’re going to show up. We’re going to be ready. And we’ll just see what happens.” – coach Shannon Watford

Millwood
Why the Falcons can win:
Kevonte Richardson. People talk about Brandon Swindall, Josh Turner, Shevin Patton and all the other stars, but Richardson is the guy who makes the whole thing go. Whether it’s with his feet or his arm, he makes plays when his team has to have them, and I don’t expect anything different from him Saturday afternoon. And let’s not forget about the Falcon defense. I doubt there have been many times this year when Hennessey has seen the kind of defensive team speed Millwood has.

Quote: I saw how the seniors felt after we lost to Kingfisher (in the semifinals last year). They were really hurt because it was over. We don’t want to have that feeling this year.” — Millwood senior receiver Mike Cole

Boneman’s key matchup: Hennessey secondary vs. Millwood WRs. I look at this game and this is the one that just stands out. Heck, I could even just narrow this down to Brandon Swindall. How are the Eagles going to contain Swindall, who has been darn near unstoppable this season.
