OCA Boys Basketball All-State team announced

The Bishop McGuinness duo of Matt Christiansen and Joe Edmonds led the Irish to the Class 5A state title, and now they’ll team up again for the Large West squad in the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State Game in July.

Christiansen and Edmonds will be joined by the likes of James Woodard from Edmond Memorial, Norman’s Rico Hogan, El Reno’s Conner Haydon and Mount St. Mary’s Justin Wagner for the Large West.

The Washington pair of Cal Andrews and Jesse Nixon will play for the Small West, along with Centennial guard Da’Sean Carolina.

The games will be played July 26 at Oral Roberts’ Mabee Center. The Small School game will tip off at 7 p.m. with the Large School game at 8:30.
