After helping to lead Douglass to back-to-back state track championships, Madison Reynolds was given yet another honor, being named Oklahoma’s Gatorade Girls Track Athlete of the Year on Wednesday.

As a senior, Reynolds won the 200 meters in 25.72 seconds and the 400 in 56.30, earning The Oklahoman’s Little All-City Girls Track Athlete of the Year for the second straight season.

Reynolds plans to attend Oral Roberts University, where she’ll continue to focus on the 200 and 400 meters. Her strength is the 400, which she won three times at state in her career.
