Oklahoma high school football practices begin today
Happy first day of practice, Oklahoma high school football fans!
Fall practices begin today for Oklahoma high schools, and I, along with my fellow high school writers Scott Wright and Ryan Aber, will be out and about all week visiting practices around the Oklahoma City area.
My Tuesday begins by checking out Barry Sanders, Sterling Shepard and the defending Class 3A state champion Heritage Hall Chargers. I’ll then head to Edmond Memorial to check out quarterback Ry Huff and the Bulldogs, and wrap up my day of practices with an afternoon visit to new coach Chris Stiles and the Mount St. Mary Rockets.
I’ll also be calling coaches all day to check in, so be sure to stay with this blog and NewsOK.com, and to follow these Twitter accounts: @jasonkersey, @ryaber, @ScottWrightOK, @HSVarsity and @NewsOKSports. Also, be sure to like our high school coverage on Facebook.
