Yukon-Edmond North playoff game set for 7 p.m.

While virtually all of the high school playoff games on Friday night will kick off at 7:30 p.m., Yukon has received permission from the OSSAA to begin its first-round playoff game against Edmond North at 7 p.m.
Both teams have started all of their games this season at 7 p.m., and Yukon athletic director David Fisher wished to maintain that routine. Edmond officials agreed, and the change was made. This will be Yukon’s first playoff game in its new stadium, which opened in September.
Most Class 6A teams around the metro area scheduled 7 p.m. kickoffs this season, and it is possible that others will make the change this week as well. We will pass those along as we learn about them.
