Tulsa East Central wide receiver/defensive back Stanvon Taylor was named to the MaxPreps All-American team.
Taylor, an Oklahoma commit, earned the honors at defensive back. He had 34 tackles and four interceptions on defense, though most teams avoided going his way. On offense, Taylor had 61 catches for 1,035 yards and 15 touchdowns and rushed for two more touchdowns.
Taylor was The Oklahoman‘s All-State Defensive Player of the Year this season and played in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl earlier this month.
He helped his team to the Class 5A championship game before falling to Carl Albert.
