Former Lawton High standout Craig Foster was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches’ Division II All-America team Wednesday.

Foster, a 5-foot-11 junior, led Cameron with 16.6 points and 5.7 assists per game.

He helped the Aggies to an 18-9 overall record, including a perfect 12-0 at home.

Foster was an Oklahoma Basketball Coaches Association All-State selection as a senior at Lawton and helped the Wolverines to the state tournament as a junior.

His college career took off this season after appearing in 24 games as a sophomore, with a high of 15 points in last year’s Lone Star Conference Tournament.

Eight times this season, Foster topped the 20-point mark. He scored a career-high 29 against West Texas A&M on Feb. 9.

Earlier this month, he was named the LSC’s Men’s Basketball Player of the Year.
