“Dating Rules From My Future Self” web series premieres today

The new web series “Dating Rules From My Future Self,” starring Shiri Appleby (“Roswell”/”Life Unexpected”) and Taylor Kinney (“The Vampire Diaries”) debuts today on Facebook at www.facebook.com/DatingRules.

“Dating Rules From My Future Self,” from Alloy Entertainment (“Pretty Little Liars,” “Gossip Girl” and “The Vampire Diaries”), centers on 27-year-old Lucy (Appleby), who begins getting text messages from herself ten years in the future warning her to change her dating strategy, according to a news release.

With the assistance of her future self, Lucy must face her current longtime boyfriend, who she knows isn’t the one.

Co-stars in the nine-episode series are Alison Becker (“Parks & Recreation”), Bryce Johnson (“Pretty Little Liars”), Mircea Monroe (“Episodes”) and Martin Starr (“Knocked Up”).

New episodes of the show will air every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
