“The Vampire Diaries”: “Daddy Issues”

A few notes after watching tonight’s “Daddy Issues” episode of “The Vampire Diaries”:

Jules (Michaela McManus) and her werewolf friends brought new meaning to the term “torture” – poor Caroline (Candice Accola) – and then Matt (Zach Roerig) catches her lying to him.

Not sure that a sleepover with her buddies will make up for all of that, but it was a nice gesture by Stefan (Paul Wesley) to bring it together.

I’m betting the relationship between Tyler (Michael Trevino) and Caroline isn’t over yet and that Tyler will be won over to the vampires’ side.

And Damon (Ian Somerhalder) claimed another victim as he continued in his self-loathing ways – in a bubble bath, no less.

Of course Elena (Nina Dobrev) is right to distrust Johnathan Gilbert (David Anders), even after his almost-convincing try at reaching out to her and giving her her mother’s necklace.

What does he have up his sleeve involving Katherine (Dobrev)?
