The docuseries “Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp” has been picked up by Lifetime and will provide an exclusive, rare glimpse into Palin’s real life as a young, single mother forging her own way in the world while living under the constant spotlight as a member of one of America’s most high-profile families, according to a news release.

Ten half-hour episodes of the show have been ordered by the network and are scheduled to air this year.

Daughter of former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, Bristol has been a leading advocate for the prevention of teen pregnancy and has worked with such organizations as the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy and the Candie’s Foundation to educate people about the issue.

In 2010, she placed third on ABC’s reality competition series  “Dancing With the Stars” and, most recently, she published her New York Times best-selling book “Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far.”
