In honor of the fourth season of “River Monsters” premiering at 8 p.m., Sunday, April 1 on Animal Planet, fans can enter a giveaway contest for a “River Monsters” 6’ package Spinning Combo fishing rod.

A whole collection of “River Monsters” fishing gear will be debuting at retail stores nationwide just in time for the warm weather, and the Spinning Combo fishing rod is one of the available items. It sells for between $19.99 and $21.99 at Walmart, Kmart and other stores.

To enter the random drawing contest and win a “River Monsters” Spinning Combo fishing rod, just send me an email with “River Monsters fishing rod” in the subject to mhayer@opubco.com and I’ll draw the name of one lucky winner!

The contest will be open until Monday, March 26, 2012 at noon.
